On January 22nd, 2023, HEXAGONE MMA will take over the Zenith in Paris for its 6th show, which already looks spectacular. In addition to the first six fighters on the card, including flyweight champion Laëtitia Blot (-57 kg), four new reference athletes have been added by the organization.

Wilson Varela (6-5), who has already appeared in the HEXAGONE MMA cage in Dubai, will make a much-anticipated return in front of the capital’s audience. A talented fighter with a kickboxer’s past, he is followed at each outing by many fans, based on the activity of his social networks, where he accumulates more than 100,000 followers. A popularity that is not surprising, since the last four victories of the Portuguese were acquired by finishing, before the time limit.

Also specialized in kickboxing, the undefeated Ernesta Kareckaite (3-0-1) will be fighting her third bout for the Zenith, to use her reach and percussion technique. Two other female athletes will be making their HEXAGONE MMA debuts: the experienced Eva Dourthe (5-5) and the promising Nora Cornolle (3-1), who has won three consecutive bouts, including the last one in Abu Dhabi (UAE Warriors), on a magnificent ground and pound sequence.

An excellent judoka, counting with military training but also combat sports, Eva Dourthe won the very first European Beatdown women’s belt and accumulated ten MMA fights. Less experienced in the discipline, Nora Cornolle on the other hand has a good pedigree of fist-fighting. A world medalist in muay thai, she has perfectly negotiated her transition to mixed martial arts and is now a complete fighter, who should be watched in her next few bouts.

As a reminder, Laëtitia Blot, Matthieu Letho Duclos, Stéphanie Ielö Page, Damien Losco Remy, Romain Debienne, and Victor Verchere have already been announced on the January 22nd card. Others will follow in the coming weeks. The line-up is getting bigger but still has some surprises in store.
