I never had the ambition of making a professional career
Passionate about MMA since his childhood, Kevin Del has always put the sport after his personal life. A choice that does not prevent him from evolving at the highest level, where he makes his acute sense of submission speak.
As far back as he can remember, Kevin Del has always dreamed of MMA “I watched my first tape in elementary school! I’ve always loved it, as they say, it’s the most complete combat sport.” But before stepping into the cage, the Frenchman carefully placed his pawns, accumulating experience in different disciplines: karate, full-contact, Thai boxing, jiu-jitsu… ” In fact, when I was young, I would do things based on what was available near my place. But always with the aim of finding the most complete sport in order to get closer to MMA. The more moves are allowed, the better!” Now that he’s definitely transitioned into mixed martial arts, Kevin Del defines himself more as a purist, drawn more to the simple act of stepping into a cage than the light that attaches to it. “I’ve never had a manager, and I’ve never had the ambition to have a professional career. It’s always been a bonus. If MMA had been legalized in France a long time ago, maybe I would have tried to dedicate myself to it. But it came too late.”
